Captain Registration - Spring/Summer 2024

Welcome

Welcome to the Team Registration Hub

This link is for the creation and registration of teams and is for the use of the team captain. If you are a player, contact your captain for the correct registration for your team.

Once your registration is complete, your Regional Management team will contact you with important details, and will be available to answer any questions you may have.

Registration / Payments. Team Captain is responsible to complete the captain registration before team begins the process of player registration.  The expectation of PPHL is that no player participates in a game without being properly registered.  This ensures that all players are in full compliance with the policies of PPHL’s liability insurance carrier.

The PPHL understands that a player may have to withdraw during a season due to different circumstances. However, the team is responsible for finding a replacement player and/or pay for the lost registration fees if the withdrawn player was not fully paid at the time of leaving the team.   It is highly encouraged that all players consider the purchase of “RegSaver” insurance to potentially reimburse them if they are unable to continue their season due to injury or other reasons covered under the policy. (Please read the policy details and coverage limitations carefully).  Please note that PPHL does not offer refunds of registration fees.

Points of Emphasis.  PPHL is committed to the safety of all players and game officials.  Please review the following points of emphasis and be sure that you fully understand their importance relative to these efforts.

DOPS – recent rule changes: PLEASE review the PPHL rule book to see the new rules regarding fighting, leaving the bench, alcohol/tobacco use and ABUSE of OFFICIALS.  RULE BOOK

Team Uniforms – Team Captain is responsible for having the complete rostered team in matching uniforms with numbers assigned to each rostered and sub player. This is a critical component of the DOPS program in order to make sure all players on the ice are known to the league and to game officials.  Teams in violation of this rule will be contacted by the regional management team to assist them in getting into compliance.  Jerseys can be ordered/purchased directly from PPHL.

Abuse of Officials.  The PPHL is greatly concerned about the recent increase in violations of the Abuse of Officials rules.  Abusing any game official is completely unacceptable and will never be tolerated by the Power Play Hockey League.  Physically abusing any game official will be immediately met with the harshest punishment.  PPHL is so committed to protecting game officials from abuse that it has recently issued lifetime bans from all PPHL leagues to players who have chosen to violate this rule
